Google Maps is not loading in some areas resulting from an obvious outage

Google Maps seems to be going by an outage. At the least in some areas, the cellular model of Google Maps is unable to totally load its map or present instructions. Over 4,000 stories have been filed for the service on Downdetector, and as of two:12PM ET, Google’s Status Dashboard noted that the corporate was investigating a difficulty with the Maps SDK for Android and iOS, together with the Navigation SDK.

On each the Android and iOS variations of Google Maps, the service was unable to totally load its map, show listings or present instructions. In at the very least one case, the app confirmed an error message saying that Google Maps “Can not attain server.” No matter is inflicting the difficulty would not appear to have reached the net model of Google Maps, which continues to be capable of present instructions like regular.
